Yet another reason for Mac users to act smug

(Scroll down through the string to see Bill's part.) In the end he gives up on trying to download software from his own web site. Your standard Windows experience--repetitive re-entry of personal information, machine code error messages, repeated re-boots, obscure patches loaded for no reason--it's all there. The only thing that would have enhance the e-schadenfreude would have been a last desperate attempt to fix the problem by calling Microsoft customer support only to have the call answered by an Urdu speaker with limited English skills who referred to him as "Bill" in every sentence.
